Guys,
I would like to offer a humble suggestion, and you may do with it what you will. I just worry about burn out from the game and, so, I am trying to offer this piece of advise. Please don't rush through it--enjoy it to the fullest, especially with your first character. Let the new world be heartily explored, because the next volume won't come out for another 6 months. Go slowlyyyyy, up your characters in turn, so that you're not moving over the same terrain several days in a row (thereby learning it well). Anyway, just a piece of advice--I'm sure many will not do this and somewhere around the 4 month marker, there will be "sighs" and "ahhs" and folks saying "I can't wait til X comes out in 60 days"....LMAO.
