Simple question. Which one would you rather be:
a pirate or a viking?

Well, if a Viking included Valkyries, I would love to be one of those ~~Maia |

With or without Maia's Valkyries, ( preferably with of course) , the life of a Viking would be much safer. You had a homebase and family to go home to. You went out on raiding and/or war parties with your extended family and friends.
But we have to define what was a pirate, to the Spanish Sir Francis Drake was a pirate and to all right thinking Englishmen, he was a right hero.
True pirates however were outcasts and were normally dregs of society. With few exceptions, they were cold blooded killers who would turn on their own for another bottle or meal. |

LOL eyepatch and everything, eh?? Maybe a wooden leg, and definately nasty looking teeth (ah well Vikings didn't have pretty teeth either--guess they all just missed the advent of the toothbrush by a narrow margin in earth's history LOL)~~Maia |

Oh yes, silly me, I did forget that . Have fun cleaning that off your jacket...And you'll probably be deaf, too. Constant bird squacks in your ear never really help to maintain healthy hearing ROFL~~Maia |

Pirate
grew up on too many swashbuckling movies
i just love them
besides i'm half way there
Hurt leg - so i can fake the peg leg
can shoot with black powder
all I need now is to learn sword play
I could never swing those broad swords - lol
