Scavenger Hunt!!!Next Sunday, October 1, I will be hosting a Scavenger Hunt for all guild and alliance members!!! The event will begin at 5pm est, and will last until all items are found. The winners will be given 20 platinum (10 plat each)--useful especially as Nightfall approaches.
I will have a list of items to find by 5 pm on Sunday, and will convey it at 5 pm sharp...Those who are late will miss me explaining what will be needed for the hunt and I will NOT repeat myself. So, I suggest being in my guild at 5pm est if you should wish to partake.
Items will be from both Tyria and Cantha. I expect that all guildies work on the honor system and not extract items from their storage (but of course, I will have no way of checking this). You will be able to trade with fellow guildies and alliancies in order to complete your collections. So mutual communication is definately approved. Max number to a group is 2. Any configuration to obtain the items is acceptible: whether you two decide to split up to obtain the items or remain together is fine with me. The first duet to show me an accurate showing of items (via trade) wins the prize money!!!
For those who wish to forgo the hunt, my guildhall will also be hosting scrimmages, nekkid dance parties, and I may even have a few alcoholic beverages for you all to work on your drunken titles (who knows  ). These other events will take place during the scavenger hunt.~~Maia

It sounds like fun. Looks like I will miss it though. 
I was just informed that Oct 1 is the offical Autumn Leaf Festival.
I alreay said shucks to that fact several times. I slight hitch in my plans.
Oh well.
So everybody have fun and get crazy without me. Enjoy the drinks and the dancing.
I will be at a car show most likely. Have not received a frantic phone call yet as to can I drive a classic car there.

At least I can get french fries, fudge, quaker state wings, apple cider, taffy, oh my the list is so long. Looks like I am dieting on sat. for room on sunday.
And if I get to drive - power under that hood - woot woot.

Ah we have a Mario Andretti in our midst--my husband would really like you in real life. He did amateur racing with his '72 Dodge Demon--and won a prize that he's very proud of. Always been attracted to people into cars LMAO--they always know how to fix mine  .
As for eating all that junk food. Be careful you don't get sick. But I guess that's kind of a requisite for going to a fair. ~~Maia

Thanks to Maia for providing alcohol at the scavenger hunt function. Even if I could not compete (sniff sniff) I did have a grand time exploring the blurry world of closeups with . . . well, I had a grand time and I am sure I'll remember her name one of these days.
She danced real nice, tho.
