Ok, Movies that are disappointments

Ok copied and posted from another thread- ebooks

I can say that, on a car trip to Boston, to visit my alma mater and see me father, I had the chance to listen to Star Wars Episode 3. Let me tell you, it was the most animated trip I've ever been on, and my husband and I hada great deal to think about. The cd actually gave us a great deal to discuss. BUT, we were both really disappointed with the movie when it came out a week or two later. It was nowhere near as deescriptive.

Maybe you can spawn that topic Sandy--movies that are total disappointments LMAO. Episode 3 just didn't cut it for me, alas.~~Maia

Ok the current and most recent.

Harry Potter, the last one , not enough of the dragons and the battle fought. They cut so much out of this one. On that note , the movie before, they changed as well verses the book.

I agree with Steph on this, about Star Wars. All three epsisodes were a dissapointment to me. Entertaining, but lacking in some ways.

The biggest disappointment was Dune starring Sting and Kyle MacLachlan. I still have not watched Sci-Fi's children of Dune. I enjoyed it, but I only understood it because I read the book. I thought that with the cut parts added, it would improve overall. It did, just not quite as good as the book. Eveytime I see this movie, I add the bits and pieces that fit along with the story. So, it is a complete story in my head. I pity the person who has never read the book and tries to follow along. Not that it was not a good movie, just not up to par.
