Music addiction?Seems you can only have that if you acually play.
No luck in finding sites on this one.
They use music to help in therapy of other addictions.
hmm, so listening to music is not considered an addiction.
I wonder if someone already tried the
"Sorry officer I was just listening to the radio and got out of hand"
Hmm maybe I should make up my own test.
Speeding while in the car
Sleeping with music on
Doing housework with it on
eating with it on ( all resturants have music it seems)
surfing net with it on
bathing ...
Gee, i think I see a potential problem - LOL ( tonge in check here)
Or is it ok with all the sublimal mesages built in (really laughing now)
Or maybe it's because it is so intergrated into our lives, no one really pays attention to it. Elevator music or doctor's offices.
Or the fact that it is used in therapy for other addictions.
Now I am just pondering.
The amazing thing is that I came up with ths while footbal is playing in the background- quess what music there too.
Something to think about, not too seriously.
Hope you got a laugh or two out of this.

Yes funny stuff--you're right tho. There is music everywhere. In my younger days, I listened to far more music than I do now. However, there is nothing like a good song to move your soul. I honestly still can not do housework effectively without music. I found that it helps long ago, and it still is the case. LOL--imagine a 33 year old woman, headbanging around the house while dusting, listening to "Time Marches On" by Helloween. LOL--some habits die hard and some never do.~~Maia
