Here is a great build for using the Elite: Discord. Probably my favourite build for pure fun, and some pretty hardcore damage to go along with it, self-heals and decent energy management.

Death (12+3+1) Face scar pattern for me.
Soul Reaping (i have 13 10+3) but you can have 10 or 11 and get 75hp.
Curses (whatever is left probably 7 or so)

Enfeeble
Parasitic Bond
Discord {Elite}
Deathly Chill
Bitter Chill
Taste of Pain
Consume Corpse
- spare, rez whatever - maybe even death nova to spread conditions and add an enchantment for Discord.

firstly Discord {Elite} you need one condition and one of either a hex or an enchantment for Discord to cause damage, sounds pretty conditional, but really you can use it to your advantage.

Enfeeble (5nrg 1sec cast) - causes weakness
Parasitic bond (5nrg 1sec cast) gain roughly ~ 70-80hp after 20secs or foe dies or hex removed Smile

Use these two to get your prerequisites for Discord. put both on one target, already you have guaranteed a self-heal, 10nrg gone. now its time for Discord, (5nrg 1sec cast. 2sec recharge!!!! 79dmg.) Enfeeble will last 13secs and Parabond 20secs. So its time to lay on the discord, with 2 20x20 items youll see discord fast recharge alot, you can spam this like hell and do some really insane dmg 4xdiscord = 316dmg in under 15secs!

but while waiting for discord to recharge, use these other skills....all one sec casts

Bitter Chill - 53 cold dmg.
Deathly Chill. - 90dmg 53+37 if target is above 50% health
Taste of Pain - If Target's health is below 50% you gain 158 HP!!
Consume Corpse - xxxploit a corpse and gain 105hp and 21nrg!

So basiclly you cast enfeeble, Parabond on target, and spam skills like no ones business! you can literally go through you whole skill bar, skills 1 - 7 and be nearly fully recharged both energy and health ready to spam 1 -7 on another target. any target still standing after going through your skills just spam discord, its armour-ignoring dmg and recharges really quick.

It used to be great fun at Amatz Basin before Anet added in more mobs because of people AFK farming lol.
